British Columbia residents living on a low income can apply for funding to assist with life-saving veterinary care through the McVitie Fund. Please see the program page for eligibility and to apply.
Due to budgetary constraints, the VHS is currently not able to fund spay/neuter and vaccination care. Below is a list of lower-cost and affordable spay/neuter programs and veterinary clinics in British Columbia.
