I understand that I am working for the Vancouver Humane Society as an unpaid volunteer and I do not expect to become an employee as a result of any and all volunteer work I do for the Vancouver Humane Society; 2. I understand that when volunteering for the Vancouver Humane Society that I must represent the Humane Society’s viewpoint on any issue I may discuss with the public; 3. I agree to assume all risk of loss or injury, including death and any financial expenditures, to myself or damage to my property while on any of the premises of the Vancouver Humane Society, and elsewhere while participating in any volunteer program, and hereby release and waive any rights of action I presently have or may in the future acquire against the Vancouver Humane Society, their heirs, assigns, servants, agents or volunteers for any such loss or injury, even though such loss or injury is caused by the negligence or default of the Vancouver Humane Society, its servants, agents, or its volunteers, whether acting in the scope of employment or not; 4. This Agreement shall be effective and binding upon my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, volunteers, assigns and representatives, in the event of my death or incapacity; 5. By signing this Agreement, I acknowledge that I am of the full age and that I have read this release and have voluntarily accepted it.
