Her name is Sassy but her personality is sweet!
“She loves people. She thinks people are her pets. She loves to be petted, and would prefer to sleep on someone's bed.”
When Sassy began to develop scaly patches on her skin, her guardian thought they would clear up. Instead, Sassy started to lose her fur from scratching.
“She used to be very fuzzy, and is now becoming threadbare. She has large patches of missing hair and she scratches all the time.”
Sassy’s guardian made her an appointment to find out how to alleviate her pain and itching. The veterinarian determined that Sassy had a skin infection that would need urgent treatment, including injections.
“The amounts they suggested they needed were in the thousands of dollars,” Sassy’s guardian said. “I still need help.”
